In STK, you can search for an address as a way to insert a Place or Target object at a specified address. You can do this in the following ways:
1. Click the Insert Objects icon; in the dialog box, select the Place object and the Search by Address method.
2. Click the Insert menu and select Place by Address.
3. In the Search box on the main STK toolbar, type in the address.
There are a couple of reasons why these might not return a result:
STK is not connected to the internet.Under the hood, STK is accessing Microsoft Bing Maps to provide this functionality. STK needs to be connected to the internet in order to utilize this capability. Please check out the article
Why Doesn’t Bing Maps / Terrain Server / Data Update Utility / Insert Standard Object Work? for guidance on how to troubleshoot getting STK connected to the internet.
You might be using a version of STK older than STK 11.2.1.In versions prior to STK 11.2.1, STK was accessing the Microsoft Bing Maps SOAP Services to provide this functionality. The Microsoft Bing Maps SOAP Services is a set of web services that allow developers to add mapping and search functionality to their applications, including location finding, map imagery, and routing capabilities. As of August 2017, Microsoft stopped providing the mapping and search capabilities with the SOAP Services in favor of their Microsoft Bing Maps REST Services.
STK 11.2.1 and later support the REST Services for the "Search by Address" functionality. If your STK version does not have this functionality and you wish to have it, please upgrade to the latest version of STK.
