As noted in the AGI Software License Agreements, for AGI products released before Aug 2021, AGI provides technical support for a version of Ansys Systems Tool Kit® (STK®) software up to a maximum of five years from the release of that version of the software. This applies to all versions of the software other than maintenance releases. For AGI products released after August 2021, AGI provides technical support for the current version as well as the two previous versions of the software. Upon request, at AGI’s discretion, technical support for versions beyond five years from the latest release may be made available.

For an example of version support, as of 02/01/2025, the oldest version of the STK application that AGI still supported was STK 12.0 (released on 04/29/2020), which was the oldest version released after 02/01/2019. All of the STK 9, STK 10, and STK 11 family of releases were not supported as of 09/24/2024 because they were released prior to the five-year maximum point.
