AGI's Terrain Server, previously offered by AGI for private configurations, is part of AGI's Geospatial Content Server (GCS) data management system. STK users with an internet connection can access the Terrain Server by selecting the "Use terrain server for analysis" check box on the Scenario Object-->Properties -->Terrain page.
The terrain resolution on the Terrain Server varies across the globe. See the
Terrain Data table on the second page of the Geospatial Content Server specification sheet for a summary of the terrain sources and resolutions.
If two or more terrain sources span a region, STK will select the highest resolution terrain source for that region.
