Note: This solution applies only to STK versions 12.2 and earlier and ODTK versions 7.2 and earlier.
A missing DLL file may prevent the STK License Server (noted on Win2008 R2 and Win2012 severs) from starting. If so, you will receive the following error message:
The program can't start because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.
The solution is to install the VCRedist-2019 file attached to this article. You can find this file on the STKv12.2 Install DVD here:
<install directory>\Prerequirements\VC 2012 Redist 11.06.61030\. If your license server is a 32-bit server, you will need the VCRedist-2019-x86.zip. Otherwise, use the 64-bit VCRedist for STK, ODTK, and other STK applications that may be missing a required DLL.
