QuestionHow do I take an STK snapshot larger than screen resolution?
Answer
There may be times when you need to take a picture of the 3D Graphics window, but your screen is limited in size. The picture you are trying to capture could be larger than the resolution of your screen, and you don't want to cut the view in half. There is a way to capture the whole 3D Graphics window, despite the screen resolution of your machine.
  1. Right-click the top of the 3D Graphics window and select Floating. This will make the window float rather than be integrated into the STK workspace.
  2. Open the 3D Graphics window properties (User-added image).
  3. Select the Window Properties page.
  4. Under Placement, set Resolution to the desired size.
  5. Click the Snap Frame (User-added image) button.
  6. Save the image to your desired location.
