The Maxim-1-Wire I-Button dongles are small, portable USB or Serial hardware devices for which the STK license has been issued. You can install the dongle license onto any number of user machines, but only the machine that also has the physical dongle connected can successfully launch the STK software at any given time.

The attached ZIP file contains documents listing the features and specs for the Maxim-1-Wire I-Button dongles (USB and Serial Port).  Also included are letters from that manufacturer verifying that they do not have writable memory.
