QuestionHow do you calculate the Ground Sample Distance for a sensor object in STK?

To learn how STK calculates Ground Sample Distance, please see the Sensor Resolution page in the STK Help documentation: STK Help > How to Use STK > Build a Scenario > Add STK Objects > Object Properties > Sensors > Resolution
  1. In the Sensor’s Basic Properties, under Resolution, set the Focal Length and Detector Pitch.

  1. In the Sensor’s Properties, under Constraints > Resolution, set the Ground Sample Distance constraint (Min, Max, or both).
  2. Click OK to close the Sensor's Properties dialog box.
  3. Calculate Access between the Sensor and its target.
  4. Create a custom Access Report using information from the ConstraintData -> FromGroundSampleDistance Data Provider, as shown in the following two images.
